The hotel had both its highs and lows. While the rooms were spacious with a nice roll-top bath, the presence of high steps into the bathroom made it somewhat challenging, especially for senior citizens like my wife and me. The cleanliness was a mixed bag, with cobwebs and dust on the lampshade. The noise level from the bar above was quite bothersome.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were big and spacious with a nice roll-top bath, but the high steps into the bathroom could be difficult for senior citizens. The cleanliness could be improved.
Service
5.0
The service was a mixed bag. Some staff members were extremely rude, especially during check-in, while others, like the guy who checked us in and the breakfast server, were excellent. However, overall service standards need improvement.
Location
8.0
The location was great, right in the middle of the square and within walking distance to fantastic pubs and restaurants. However, on closer inspection, some areas appeared tired and jaded.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was mainly positive with excellent staff, although some aspects like burnt sausages and fatty bacon could be improved. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were average; however, there is room for improvement in the service aspect to enhance the overall guest experience.

5.6/10

The hotel had nicely decorated but dark and stuffy rooms due to facing an alleyway with frosted windows. The staff were polite and friendly, catering to our needs. The location was great, with many attractions nearby to explore. The dining experience was enjoyable but limited for vegetarians. Overall, a mix of positive and negative aspects to consider.

The staff was polite and courteous, especially accommodating our needs with a newborn baby.
Location
7.0
The hotel was located in a great area with many nice pubs and restaurants to visit.
Dining

The dining was on-point but had limited options for vegetarians.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities lacked some of the advertised amenities, and the bathroom had maintenance issues.
